Sosauce Travel

The Travel section of Sosauce is one of its flagship features, a large and comprehensive trip recording and planning application with many levels for the viewer to drill down into. Our main task was to organize the array of functions into a UI that was as simple as we could possibly make it without leaving out any features. Video Embed

A virtual window for embedding video from YouTube into Sosauce.com. The modular design needed to fit within our existing virtual window structure and give the viewer several different options without muddying the clarity of the primary controls.

Journal Selection

A method of selecting between different journals in Sosauce.com. The design had to utilize previously established structures while providing a list of as many journal entries as possible without overly cluttering up the interface.

A virtual window to add related content for Sosauce.com. This interface needed to take advantage of already produced list functions in a clear, concise manner.

222 Capitol Street

This website was a project which was never completed, but in the early stages I had some time to work on production, thus I was able to create a working template. The design seeks to emphasize architectural elements and attention to detail.

Photo Editor

This is a UI I designed to be applied to a Flex programming structure provided by our programmer Cesar Vichido.

In order to see the photo editor in action, you'll need to go to Sosauce.com and sign up for an account, and then upload a picture to edit it.

Embed Content

I designed this skin for the exporting of content from Sosauce and the embedding of it on other sites. The aim of the skins was to not be very flashy, to provide interface and brand recognition without distracting the viewer from the content in front of them.

Business & Economics Virtual Tour

Jason Hooper and I collaborated on this project for West Virginia University's school of Business and Economics. The client had a very large number of pieces of information and wanted an immersive experience for prospective students. We created a design and interface which gave the user lots of points of entry for different textual and photo information on the school.

Banner Designs

While at the Manahan Group I created a number of straightforward banner ads. I don't believe these to be very flashy (no pun intended) but I think it is important to include them in portfolio to show an example of the work I've done in that area.

Message Center

A re-skinning of the message center for Sosauce.com. I also produced this in CSS and HTML, but it will not be live until a soon-to-be-released build of Sosauce comes out.

Community Health Systems

We designed these websites for a series of affiliated offices. The main office wanted a consistent look and feel but each individual office wanted individuality. Following client approval we turned the finished product over to a partner who built out the HTML and hosted the sites. The finished site as produced by our partner (with alterations) can be found here.

Charleston Magazine Website

For this project I was designing a skin for Charleston Magazine. The project was finished some time after I was no longer working at the Manahan Group, but I thought this early design showed a lot of promise and is worth taking a look at.

EIMORS

While working at the Manahan Group I designed this mockup for the EIMORS construction company. The site needed to convey luxury and an attention to detail. I produced these designs, which were passed on to a partner company for production. The site is no longer active.
